Mr Manjunath Bhandary

      Mr Manjunath Bhandary is a politician, dynamic entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He was born on 14th October, 1962 at Agasanahalli Village, Bhadravathi Taluk, Shimoga District, Karnataka State, India.

Family background

     Mr Manjunath Bhandary belongs to an agricultural family at Shimoga District. His parents are Kolambe Gutthu Sri Venkappa Bhandary and Kammaje Smt Radha Bhandary.

      He married Marauoor beedu Ms. Prasanna Bhandary on 27th April, 1992. Mrs Bhandary MBA graduate, actively involved in social service and is the backbone of the Bhandary Foundation. She was born on 31st December 1969 at Bava beedu, Ira village, Bantwal Taluk, Dakshina Kannada.

      Deeksha Bhandary is their only daughter, born on 16th March 1993; she has completed her High School education at Rishi Valley Residential School, at Madanapalli, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. She is pursuing her Pre-university at Mangalore.

" Master of Arts in Political Science, (M.A.) at Mysore Open University in 1995.

" Obtained a degree in Master of Philosophy in Political Science (M.Phil.) from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2008, on the subject  A Study on Problems and Prospects of Women Panchayath representatives in Shimoga District.

" Presently he is doing Ph.D in political science.
